We are looking for a project manager with specialist competence in permit processes for a public actor responsible for traffic and urban environment.

This is a consulting assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The position is 25-50% of a full-time role.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

We are seeking a project manager with specialist competence in permit processes for a major infrastructure project. In this role, you are responsible for developing plans for necessary permits and agreements, as well as leading and steering permit and agreement processes through the various phases of the project. You will work closely with project managers, design managers, suppliers, authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are achieved regarding scope, time, cost, quality, environment, safety, communication, risk, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Join the project management group and be responsible for the planning, leadership, and steering of the project's permit and agreement processes.
• Investigate necessary permits and agreements and drive review processes with authorities and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to the creation, revision, and monitoring of the project plan regarding permits, agreements, goals, and requirements.
• Develop methods and routines within project management, systems work, requirements management, and configuration management.
• Identify resource needs, prepare request documents, and compile, review, and approve suppliers' work plans.
• Plan, lead, steer, and document work, design, and project meetings with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate work between suppliers in close collaboration with the design manager.
• Monitor and report monthly on the progress of permit and agreement work to project management and relevant decision-makers, and plan the execution of the assignment together with the client during initiation and ongoing consultation.

Requirements (Note: Mandatory)

• At least 9 years of experience in planning, leading, and steering work related to permit processes for construction activities. Examples of permit processes include permits for water activities, detailed planning plans, building permits, environmentally hazardous activities, etc.
• University education of at least 3 years relevant to the assignment.
• Training of at least one day in AB04 and ABK09 respectively.
• Training in Traffic Arrangements and Ground Works in Public Land, City of Stockholm (2 training days).
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Meritorious Qualifications

• Experience in preparing documents for applications for permits for water activities. For example, preparation of consultation documents, creation of environmental impact descriptions and technical descriptions, conducting background investigations regarding natural environment, benthic fauna, construction noise, pollution, etc.
• Experience in participating in consultations with stakeholders in the process for permits for water activities.
• Experience in preparing documents and materials for detailed planning plans or detailed planning plan changes. For example, creating environmental impact descriptions and investigations.
• Experience and high ability to communicate in both speech, writing, and performing presentations.
